Need an Aspirin for You Car Care Headache?
Are you in car care denial? We've all been there. Driving along, no cares in the world and all of a sudden the car stops dead in it tracks, causing that awful "sinking feeling" in our stomachs and the beginning of a massive headache.
More than likely all of that could have been avoided by some good old preventative vehicle maintenance performed by a reliable mechanic or even by ourselves.
It's easy to become lulled into believing that our cars will just go on forever with little or no attention. After all we're really busy and don't like to think about the time and expense required to take care of those little regular maintenance items our vehicle's service manual mentions.
Well...as you've probably already learned by experience, the time and money invested in those easy to forget maintenance items is way less expensive than the time and money required to purchase car parts and do the repair ourselves, or have the car repair done by a mechanic.
Repairing some thing or things that broke because their maintence was ignored a little to long often occurs simply because the vehicle owner doesn't know what needs to be done and when. Vehicle service manuals are not that easy to read and today's cars are much more complicated than they were even a few years ago.
As an automotive repair shop owner, I am very aware of the frustration that occurs when someone goes into a repair shop with what seems like a small probem, and ends up with an expensive repair job. Especially when it could have been prevented had the vehicle been receiving the proper scheduled maintenance all along.
With that in mind, I'm putting this site together to provide car care and vehicle maintenance information, in an easily understood format, for anyone confused about how to care for and maintain their vehicle.
Even if you're a "shade tree mechanic" or a knowledgable "do it yourselfer" you can find valuable resources on this site and it's links to help solve your care care or car repair problems.
As I continue to develop the content on these pages you will find information about the various systems and major components that make your vehicle do what it was intended to do, along with the when, why and how these systems need to be serviced and maintained.
To get started you can click on the navigation buttons on the left side of the page in any order you choose depending on the information you're looking for.
As time goes on more links will be added to provide you with the "ultimate in car care information." Feel free to use the contact me button to ask any question or offer any suggestions about the content on these pages.
When you're ready to take the ultimate-car-care-guide.com "Aspirin" and relieve that "car care headache" of yours once and for all, just dig into the website and together we'll get your vehicle back in tip top shape.
